Grammar Rule

Word Order

Words arranged in the wrong position within a sentence.

The Rule

Adjectives come before Nouns. Adverbs of frequency (always, often) come before main verbs but after 'to be'.

Examples

Incorrect

I play often football.

Correct

I OFTEN play football.

💡 Pro Tip

English follows the S-V-O (Subject-Verb-Object) structure. Avoid translating word-by-word from your native language.
